Become a Volunteer

Montague Villages is a grass roots all-volunteer organization, offering volunteer services and programs to residents aged 60 and over, in the Town of Montague.  Volunteers receive training, support and supplemental insurance coverage while assisting their neighbors. Volunteers determine when, where and how they would like to offer assistance. Montague Villages also needs volunteers to help with various organization tasks.


Volunteers can offer assistance:

  • Providing rides to appointments, grocery store, libraries, etc.
  • Running errands, providing respite care for caregivers, and post hospital visits.
  • Offering call-in safety checks and/or companionship visits.
  • Helping with simple household chores, light yard work, and technical support.
  • Providing administrative support for Montague Villages e.g., phone management, marketing, grant writing, fundraising, organizing social events.

Download, fill out, print, and sign a volunteer application (includes the CORI form) or you can also call and request an application be mailed to you. The forms cannot currently be submitted online.
